Adults make some of the best piano students, you know what you want to play and why. Whether you’re starting from scratch or coming back after years away, lessons here are built around your music and your pace, with no recital pressure and no judgment. In-person at the studio in Ukrainian Village, or online via Zoom.

We start with music you actually want to play, not scales and theory drills, and build the technique you need to play it well along the way. Classical, jazz, pop, whatever pulls you to the bench.
Lessons move at an adult’s pace: efficient, conversational, and built around a life that already has a job and a calendar. You’ll leave the first lesson with something you can sit down and play.
The most common student here is an adult, often a complete beginner or someone coming back after a long break. There’s no upper age limit and no prerequisite.

Taught by Nick Olynciw, a working Chicago musician, in a real instrument-filled studio. The $25 trial is the easiest way to see if it’s a fit.
