Music with Nick (“we,” “us,” or “Nick”) operates the website musicwithnick.com and provides private piano and voice lessons in Chicago, IL. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to schedule lessons, process payments, and improve the site.
You provide directly
- Name and email address when you book an intro call (via Calendly) or purchase a lesson pack (via Acuity Scheduling).
- Phone number, payment information, and billing address when you complete a purchase. Payment details go directly to Stripe — we never see your full card number.
- Anything you share during your intro call or via email, which we treat as confidential.
Automatically collected
- Standard web analytics: pages visited, referring source, browser type, approximate location, and how long you stayed.
- Session recordings via Microsoft Clarity (anonymized; we don’t record form inputs or sensitive fields).
How we use it
- To schedule your lesson and contact you about it.
- To process payments and send receipts.
- To improve the website (figure out which pages are useful and which aren’t).
- To measure the effectiveness of advertising (Google Ads).
- To send occasional emails about upcoming programs or changes to existing ones — only if you’ve opted in.

We do not sell your information to anyone. We do not share it with any party not listed above, except where required by law.
Cookies & tracking
This site uses cookies for analytics, advertising attribution, and to remember your preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without losing core functionality (you’ll still be able to browse and book lessons).
Your choices
- Access or delete your data: email nick@musicwithnick.com and we’ll handle it within 30 days.
- Opt out of analytics: use your browser’s “Do Not Track” or any ad-blocker. Most disable Google Analytics and Clarity automatically.
- Unsubscribe from emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
